Female Irish Makers
On a recent trip to Ireland, I found out about several Irish 'makers' in several magazines, and two women caught my attention: Annie Atkins and Jackie Taylor. Annie Atkins has worked on The Grand Budapest Hotel movie by Wes Anderson and created a dozen of documents, and props used throughout the movie. Here's an interview of her on blog It's Nice That if you'd like to read.
As for Jackie Taylor, I'm in awe with her sparkly creations from another world, inspiring herself from different cultures and subcultures, discover her crowns and masks and the rest of her 'wearable art'.
